
- Press “t” shortcut for the ⚙️[Type tool]
- Type “Rainbow Shadow” in a text box
- Press “s” shortcut for the ⚙️[Style tool]
- Click the switch next to Shadow to enable it. Set Options Below:
- Blur – set to 10
- Distance – set to 5
- Angle – set to 45
- Opacity – set to 75%
- Color – black
- Press “Shift – ⌘- N” for a new layer
- You should see a new layer in the layers panel. We are going to fill it with a Gradient
- Press “G” for ⚙️[Gradient tool]
- Set the Gradient Options to look like this

- Click on canvas and draw a line to Gradient Fill the entire canvas

- Set the Layer Style from Normal to Color. See below between Saturation & Luminosity
- Your Layers Panel should look something like this:
And your Canvas should look like this!

Also it is super easy to create this alternate shadow by redoing the angle of the Gradient on the top layer.
